I am sending a tweet to multiple people but it won’t let me send it all at once because of its length, is there a code I can use to allow the extra length?

This is going to sound extremely stupid, considering everyone knows how to use Twitter but me. I found an old friend by her Twitter account, and I tried to send her a tweet (yes I have an account as well). The message shows up on my profile, but not hers. What do I do to get a message to her exactly?

especially in the trends i cant get my tweets to join the trends.do i have to type the "#" and the trend in the tweet?

If I make a tweet containing one of the trending topics, will people be able to see it? Or is every single tweet I make only available to the people who are following me?
Thanks.
PS: My twitter is raachelfay - follow me if you want, i’ll follow you back! :)

I just wondered, surely there must be a name for people who sign up, maybe read tweets from the service but have never posted a tweet ever. If there isn’t, what would be a good name for it?

i need to know if you have to go on the internet on your phone to tweet, does it cost money, and if you do not have to go on the internet to tweet, how do you tweet from your phone?

Ive seen people on Twitter with condensed links that link to different pages. Ive found a page I want to link to in my tweet, but the URL is too long for the tweet. How do I get one of the short truncated ones so I can share the page with my followers? I dont see an option to add a link so…Im lost.

I am following people but they are not all following me when they send out a tweet can I reply if they are not following me? I know there is a reply on the side of the tweet but I have been reading some of these tweets and some people are saying cut and paste and rt? anyone have a clue?

I would like to know if there is a way to not just send every single tweet one person sends, but text only containing certain words or phrases so I don’t get hundreds of texts everyday. Thanks!

I am following this person. Do I put quotation marks "@username" or do I just send the tweet without quotation marks

@username then the update or the tweet

How to add a photo in your tweet from your phone?

I already set up my mobile account. I have gotten texts from Twitter, like verification codes and stuff. But I don’t know how to update my own status via cell phone. I’ve sent my tweet to the right number, but it won’t update. What is wrong?

It told me to send my updates to 40404. They send, but when I check my Twitter my status isn’t updated.

How do you send a tweet message on twitter? How do you send a personal tweet? How do you reply to a tweet? How do you ask to be followed? How do you see people person stuff on twitter such as their pictures and personal web pages? How do you find celebrity sites to follow?

So I have about 35 followers and I always tweet stuff like "what is everyone up to today?" and even send some direct messages but no one ever answers me, even if the message is asking something direct. Is this because they’re spam and only respond if my tweet mentions something specific? How can I get rid of the spam followers? It upsets me that people are following me if all they want is to sell their crap to me. I thought the purpose of Twitter was to keep up with friends.

Chuggaaconroy’s tweet list is too long… please help.

thanks

Don’t mean to sound stupid..but i’m new to twitter and just cannot work out how to leave a tweet! I know how to like, reply to posts and ‘retweet’ (even though i dont really understand retweeting)
But how do you just leave a plain and simple tweet?
Please help! x

My friend made a "tweet" or whatever you call it. So I hit the reply thing on it that says @so and so, then I wrote something back. and then when I went back to check my friends tweet, I couldn’t find what I had written underneath it, it only seemed to show up as a tweet on my own page, did she ever get the reply I sent her?

Twitter confuses me.

I don’t even know what API is. I decided to send a story to my twitter from a mobile phone app, and now it posts it (the tweet says "From API") what seems like several times a day. How can I stop it?

I guess I dont get it. I was going to send someone a message or tweet or what ever, so i look at their page and no where is there a place where i can actually send a message or leave a post on there wall. Could someone give me a Twitter for Dummies crash course? thanks

I have my tweets set to private so only those who are following me can see MY tweets. But what about if I send a tweet to someone else who is not following me. Since I initiated it and sent it to them, like to "@mike hi how are you" will @mike get/see the tweet? Hope this makes sense!!

Alright, I got a little problem here. One of my friends on twitter said that he replayed to my tweet that I posted, but I don’t know how to read the replay I got from him. Can someone please tell me how to read it? If you could just explain step by step I would be very happy. Many thanks.x

A "Tweet is a short e-mail for those who don’t know. Please, no foul mouthed ones; you can be funny and not vulgar at the same time.

I can make a tweet with my phone by texting the twitter number. But how do I post a twitpic? I have tried sending a picture in my phone to the twitter number that I successfully tweet to, but it will not work.

Any help?

I’m using someone else’s old phone, and they have a twitter app already installed. When I click it, it shows a space where I can type up to 140 characters (a tweet I assume). I want to make it so the app is linked to my Twitter account now. Any ideas? I’m clueless

For example if i am following someone and they post a tweet then i reply to their tweet.
Can they see what i put even if they arent following me
??

I go to direct messages, and in the box where it says where you want to send it, it comes up blank. Also, if I reply to a tweet, will the person see it, as well as everyone following that person? Like will it show up on their profile?

How narcissistic can you be and/or how much down time can you possible have that you have to "tweet?"
