I want to get certain people’s tweets sent to my phone via text message. Is there a way to do that?

If I update my twitter and my facebook status via text message on my phone will I be using my internet off my mobile?

How do you make @ replies from twitter to be directly sent to you phone? Cos I`m using twitter text message. But I also want the @ replies to my posts to be sent to my phone.

ok well i have unlimited text throughout north america, so would any updates i receive through text message will be free? i just don’t want to get into it, get a lot of messages, and then find out it costs money.

On Twitter you can allow open access to your messages. Therefore, if I posted a message or sent a text message update - would everyone accessing Twitter be shown my message?

P.S. I am aware that there is the option to restrict your profile to your followers only.
