I have some tweets favorited, and I would like to unfavorite them. However, whenever I click on the star in order to unfavorite the tweet it just loads FOREVER. Any help?

I don’t know them at all. I would also like a way to search for people to follow, perhaps by category?

Let me start out by saying that I am familiar with Facebook and Myspace, although I do not go to these sites anymore. I am trying to understand why Twitter is used. Could you just send a CC email to friends? Or keep a blog? What purpose does Twitter actually have and how would it help someone in their daily life? I could be wrong, but in my opinion it does seem pointless. Any intelligent insight would be appreciated!

With millions already invested in Twitter, and no profit to date, and I don’t know of any existing revenue stream, what is their business logic? Why would venture capital flow toward Twitter, instead of away from it? This question applies to other free web start ups as well.
